BK Communications Group's principals have over 20 years of combined industry experience in marketing communications and sales, and we draw on a team of top independent professionals in such areas as messaging, presentation training and coaching, editing, and graphic design.
Eric Brand, PrincipalEric has long creative and management experience in the investment management industry, specializing in communicating targeted messages to a wide variety of audiences. For such elite firms as Sanford C. Bernstein & Co./AllianceBernstein, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Pzena Investment Management, Eric has overseen development, design, and execution of marketing communications in almost all media, as well as crafting and reinforcing firm messaging and branding. His work has ranged across all audience segments (private client, institutional, consultant, investor relations, public) and asset classes, including marketing campaigns for hedge funds and funds of funds. As Director of Marketing Communications, he organized investor days, client conferences, and one-on-one presentations, including text and materials development and public speaking guidance. Eric has also been a writer/producer for such network television shows as Cosby and Grace Under Fire, providing scene direction to numerous celebrities, and managing editor at the award-winning architecture and design magazine Metropolis. Eric received his B.A. from Stony Brook University.
Kevin Kasper, Principal
Kevin has extensive marketing and sales experience in the investment management industry. Prior to founding BKCG, Kevin led business development for Imagineer Technology Group, a middle- and front-office solutions provider for hedge funds, funds of funds, and family offices, where he built the client base to include some of the largest alternative asset managers and positioned the firm as a leading software provider in its space. Kevin's experience includes institutional research sales for Rochdale Securities, where he managed efforts to increase sales by improving the organization, look, and feel of presentation pitchbooks and by coaching analysts to hone their in-person presentation skills. Kevin began his career in the investment management industry as a Financial Advisor for Wachovia Bank and Morgan Stanley, where he worked with high-net-worth investors providing wealth management consulting services. Kevin's background also includes public relations: at Burson Marsteller, Kevin was responsible for organizing publicity events, overseeing placement of editorial content in media outlets, and scripting video footage for national television. He earned a B.A. from Rutgers University and completed graduate studies in Talmudic Law and Philosophy from the Alexander Heiden Institute in Jerusalem.
